Amazfit has officially launched its latest wearable, the Active 2 smartwatch, in India on Tuesday. The device is being rolled out in two variants: a Standard version featuring a silicone strap, and a Premium version that combines a leather and silicone strap with a sapphire glass display.
The Amazfit Active 2 boasts a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with an impressive peak brightness of 2,000 nits, offering vibrant visibility even under direct sunlight. At the heart of the smartwatch is the BioTracker 6.0 PPG biosensor, equipped with a dual-LED and 5PD (photodiode) design to deliver advanced health tracking capabilities.
Designed with convenience in mind, the smartwatch also supports voice commands, allowing users to control settings or manage their calendar hands-free. Android users gain additional functionality with the ability to respond to instant messages using either a keyboard or speech-to-text input, further enhancing on-the-go communication.
With a battery life of up to 10 days, the Active 2 aims to strike a balance between style, functionality, and endurance — making it a compelling option in the competitive smartwatch market.
